Who We Are

Nature Discovery Christian Academy is a non-denominational private Christian school in Junction City, OR serving Preschool through 12th grade students. We provide a quality, science-enhanced (STEM) education for children in a Christian environment.

Where Are We Located?

Nature Discovery Christian Academy is located at the historic Beacon House. Beautiful gardens with paths and learning spaces for all ages. In August of 2014, we acquired the Sonrise Chapel, and added it to the grounds. Having a chapel on site makes worship service more vibrant and fun! The chapel provides the best possible environment to learn about nature and the Lord.

What is a STEM School?

We are proud to be a S.T.E.M. (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics) school. STEM schools focus on these subjects to help our nation’s youth gain the skills required to succeed in today’s challenging world. This includes the ability to think critically, solve complex problems, and drive advancements in science and technology.

While the future stability of our economy is unknown, parents will take comfort in knowing that science and engineering jobs are growing 70 percent faster than other occupations. This means students with STEM education will be at an advantage when competing for high-tech, high-wage jobs of the future. This was fueled by America’s high demand for educated individuals to fill the job openings requiring highly skilled workers in order to keep some of the nations most innovative companies right here in the U.S.

The vision of Nature Discovery Christian Academy is to prepare students to be responsible and Christ-centered members of the community by partnering with parents in developing Christian character and academic proficiency. NDCA will promote a nurturing and challenging academic environment and continually enhance learning opportunities within a small school setting.
